🌄 Vagamon Hills

The Story

Hardust was born from a simple belief: the best things in Vagamon aren't on Google Maps.

I grew up in Vagamon, surrounded by these hills. I've watched sunrise from secret meadows, bathed in hidden waterfalls, and walked through grasslands that feel like another world. And I've watched tourism change this place — sometimes bringing economic hope, but often bringing bulldozers to hilltops and plastic to forests.

So I started Hardust. A space where I can share the real Vagamon with people who care. The 80% of this site is my blog — stories about hidden spots, ecology, and the beauty that still exists if you know where to look. The remaining 20% is a small shop selling what my land produces: cardamom and tea, direct from Vagamon to your home.

What I Believe

🏔️

Leave Mountains Alone

No resort is worth a landslide. True eco-tourism means building with nature, not on top of it.

🤝

Fair & Honest

Every price is fair. Every product is real. Every story is true. No greenwashing. No middlemen.

🌍

Travel Should Be Accessible

I keep my guide prices affordable — starting at ₹699 (~$8) — because nature isn't a luxury.

📖

Stories Matter

Every article is a real experience. Written with a phone, edited with love, published with purpose.

My Setup

I'm a one-person operation. No team. No agency. No fancy equipment. My phone (Motorola Edge 60 Pro) is my camera, my video recorder, and my publishing tool. The site runs on Netlify — free hosting because I believe you don't need money to start something meaningful. I'm registered as an OPC under MSME, and I'm working toward a trademark for Hardust when I can afford it.

YouTube Channel

I also run the Hardust YouTube channel, backlinked to this website. Every video is a video version of what you read here — raw, real, and filmed during my actual explorations. Subscribe for free to see Vagamon through my eyes.

Let's Connect

If you're planning a trip to Vagamon, want to buy cardamom or tea, or just want to say hello — get in touch. I reply to every message personally.
